New Appointments to the GESS Board of Directors

We are pleased to announce recent appointments within the GESS Board of Directors:

Prof. Dr. Christoph Rothe has been appointed as the new Academic Director of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics (CDSE). With his expertise and vision, he will continue to advance the center’s commitment to providing high-quality education in economics.

At the same time, Prof. Dr. Hartmut Höhle, Academic Director of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB), has recently taken on the role of Dean of Graduate Studies, a role in which he will represent and coordinate the work of the board on behalf of the GESS.

We take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to Prof. Thomas Gschwend, Ph.D., who has served with dedication as Dean, and to Prof. Michelle Sovinsky, Ph.D., former Academic Director of the CDSE, for their outstanding contributions during their tenure.

We look forward to working together with our newly appointed Board of Directors as we continue to strengthen our mission of delivering excellence in graduate education and research.
