Good and Questionable Research Practices with AI: A Spectrum of Research Integrity
The rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in research brings new opportunities and challenges.
This talk explores a spectrum of good and questionable research practices in the use of AI across the entire research lifecycle:
- plan and design,
- collect and create,
- analyze and collaborate,
- evaluate and archive,
- share and disseminate,
- and access and reuse.
Through real-world examples, the talk illustrates how the use of AI in research can both support and undermine research integrity. The focus lies on researchers’ individual responsibilities.
