Term Papers/
This course offers students of political science and sociology support with writing an academic term paper or thesis. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your term paper or thesis. A basic understanding of literature research is required.
Depending on the interests of the course participants, the topics discussed will include:
- How do I formulate a good research question?
- How do I structure my paper?
- What do I need to bear in mind when writing?
- How do I handle references and citations?
- What search strategies are available for finding academic literature?
- Which databases and tools can I use for literature research?
- How can I assess the quality of an academic source?
