A virtual guest lecture with Kristian Schier (Head of SAP Intelligent Data & Analytics Architecture) for IS 301

The session is scheduled for Thursday, April 30th, 12–1.30 pm. (same time as the lecture) and will be held via Zoom.

We are pleased to announce that we were able to organize a virtual guest lecture with SAP for you. Kristian Schier (Head of SAP Intelligent Data & Analytics Architecture) will hold the lecture.

He is a senior leader at SAP and head of the company’s internal analytics architecture team. Having worked on one of the very first business warehouse (BW) implementation, Kristian moved from implementing BI-solutions to becoming a thought leader around data, analytics and BI-strategy. He crafted SAP’s current, internal analytics, data and platform strategy and continues to influence the product development with his visionary ideas. Over the last years, Kristian has largely driven innovation at SAP by pushing semantic modelling down to every last bite of data. Kristian is driving SAP’s digital transformation by implementing an out-of-the-box and forward-thinking approaches as well as changing the culture and apply new work models.

You will get exciting insights into the SAP Analytics Story, learn how SAP integrates analytic processes and data management into organizational structures, and get an idea of the usage of multiple SAP technologies, such as SAP BW, HANA, Analytics Cloud, and mass data storage.

The session is scheduled for Thursday, April 30th, 12–1.30 pm. (same time as the lecture) and will be held via Zoom. The access has been published via Ilias.

We are looking forward to your participation in the virtual lecture.
