Since August 2021, CDSB Alumna Barbara Stage is Assistant Professor of Financial Accounting and Business Taxation at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
Her research focuses on the impact of taxes on firms and individuals. She investigates the effectiveness of transparency regimes to combat tax avoidance and aggressive tax planning. Furthermore she investigates the effectiveness of automatic exchange of information agreements in tax matters as well as the impact of digitalisation on corporate taxation and tax planning, and tax research incentive regimes.
