Diego Andres Perez Ruiz wins the 2019 Cochran-Hansen Prize of the International Association for Survey Statisticians

Winner of the Cochran-Hansen Prize 2019
The Cochran-Hansen Prize of the IASS is awarded every two years for the best paper on survey research methods submitted by a young statistician from a developing or trans­ition country. The prize was established in 1999.
IASS is glad to announce that the winner of the 2019 prize is Diego Andres Perez Ruiz from Mexico. He will present a paper entitled „Supplementing Small Probability Samples with Nonprobability Samples: A Bayesian Approach“ in the IASS Special Invited Lecture and Cochran-Hansen Prize Lecture Session at the 62nd World Statistics Congress of the ISI. The paper is co-authored with Arkadiusz Wiśniowski, Joseph W. Sakshaug and Annelies Blom.
