Prof. Dr. Jens Förderer, Professor of Innovation and Digitalization at the Technical University of Munich's School of Management, Heilbronn Campus, was awarded the European Research Council Starting Grant for his project “Fair Competition in App Markets”.
His research project, which he already began working on during his doctoral studies at the CDSB, aims to understand how obligations for app marketplace gatekeepers set out in the European Union´s Digital Markets Act affect competition and innovation in app stores.
The prestigious grant is set to 1.5. Million Euros and will fund Jens´ research for the following five years.
