CDSS alumnus Christian Gläßel awarded Lorenz-von-Stein prize

CDSS alumnus Christian Gläßel is a postdoctoral researcher at the Hertie School's Centre for International Security in Berlin. The Lorenz-von-Stein prize was awarded for his thesis „Subversive Threats, Repression, and Stability” which offers in-depth insights into the operating mechanisms of past and present authoritarian regimes.

Since 1999, the The Lorenz-von-Stein-Gesellschaft e.V., which supports the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research honors a doctoral dissertation in Political Science, Social Psychology or Sociology. The Lorenz-von-Stein prize is worth 1,000 euros.
