CDSS Alumnus Marc Philipp Janson appointed Assistant Professor

Last year in May Marc Philipp succesfully defended his thesis and has now taken up the  ‘Tenure-Track Professor­ship for Teaching and Learning Psychology with a focus on Educational Design and Educational Effectiveness’ at the Karlsruhe University of Education on 1 September 2024. He'll remain connected to his alma mater as project leader of the research project ‘Understanding and Supporting Self-Regulated Learning in Intelligent Tutoring Systems’ approved by the Research Council of the University of Mannheim at the Chair of Educational Psychology until July 2026.
